# The things people ask before they point it at a channel.

Whose broadcasts it is for, where it can send them, how much disk it needs, and free versus paid.

01 Whose broadcasts is this for?

Your own. It is built for a streamer who wants a channel showing their own back catalogue while they are offline. It has no way to obtain anything that is not published on the channel you point it at, and re-broadcasting someone else's work is a matter between you, them and the platform — not something the app can settle for you.

02 Where can it send the stream?

Twitch, YouTube, Kick, Facebook, Rumble, TikTok, Trovo and Restream are in the list, and anything else that takes an ordinary server address and stream key works under Custom — a self-hosted server, Picarto, Vimeo, X, a CDN ingest. It sends to one at a time. If you want to be live in several places at once, point it at a restreaming service and fan out from there, which is what those services are for.

03 Can it read my YouTube streams as well as Twitch?

Yes. Point it at a Twitch channel and it reads that channel's past broadcasts; point it at a YouTube channel and it reads the Live tab — finished streams only, not ordinary uploads and not anything still on air. The two ends are independent, so reading from YouTube and broadcasting to Twitch, or the other way round, is a normal thing to set up.

04 Are you affiliated with Twitch, YouTube or Kick?

Stream ReRuns is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Twitch, YouTube, Kick, Facebook, TikTok, Trovo, Rumble, Restream or any other streaming service. All product names, logos and trademarks are the property of their respective owners, and are used here only to name the service a stream comes from or goes to. The app carries the same statement on the screen where you choose a destination, in its About tab, in its licence notices and in the notice bundle it can export.

05 Can I stream the reruns to the same channel the videos came from?

You can, but do not. The rerun would be recorded as a new broadcast on that channel, which the app would then find on its next check and add to the library — your own output feeding back into itself. Point the stream key at a second account, or at a different service entirely, which is how rerun channels are normally run anyway.

06 How much disk space does this need?

A day of 1080p60 is roughly 65 gigabytes. That is why nothing downloads until you press the button, and why the button tells you the number before you press it. You can shorten the window, cap the folder size, or ask for a lower quality if that is too much for the machine.

07 What is the difference between free and paid?

One thing: a small black box reading royalsoftworks.com in the bottom-right corner of the outgoing video. Everything else — both sources, all nine destinations, the full day-long window, pins, the scheduler, unlimited streaming hours — works identically. Paying €20 once takes the watermark off. Because it is composited by the encoder rather than drawn on your screen, switching to Pro during a broadcast takes effect when you restart the stream, and the app tells you that rather than leaving you to work it out.

08 Is it a subscription?

No. Stream ReRuns is a one-time purchase of €20, VAT included — one of four products we sell that way, alongside DuplicateDuster, VoiceMe and Space Wizard. You pay once, the licence covers one computer, and future updates are included. If you change machines, deactivate the old one on the licence card in your account on this site (Dashboard → Licenses), then activate the new one with the same key.

09 Does it run in the cloud, or on my computer?

On your computer. That is the trade: there is nothing to rent monthly, and equally the stream stops if the machine sleeps, shuts down or loses its connection. It holds the machine awake while it is live, and reconnects by itself when a connection drops, but it cannot outlive the computer it runs on.

10 Why would some of my broadcasts be left out of the loop?

Because they were streamed at a different resolution or with a different codec, and a continuous stream cannot switch mid-play without stopping. The app groups the day by format, airs the largest group and lists the rest with the reason. They stay on your disk and still count toward the window. If your streaming settings have been stable, this will not come up at all.

11 What about muted, claimed or private videos?

Segments Twitch muted for a copyright match download silent and go out silent, and a YouTube stream muted or blocked by a claim arrives the same way it is served — nothing can recover that audio. Sub-only, members-only and private broadcasts are not visible to an anonymous request, so if you need them you can export a cookies.txt from your browser and point the app at it.

12 It used to be called Twitch ReRuns. Is this the same thing?

Yes — the same app, renamed in September 2026 when it stopped being about one service. It reads from Twitch and YouTube and sends to nine places, so a name that promised one of them was no longer accurate. The old address redirects here, and nothing about the licence or the price changed.
