New ### Reconnects by itself, and notices a stall A dropped connection is retried, and a watchdog notices an encoder that is still running but no longer sending anything — the failure that looks alive. Waking the computer from sleep restarts the broadcast. New ### Ends long sessions before the platform does Twitch cuts a broadcast at 48 hours and Facebook at 8, and a quick reconnect is stitched into the same broadcast, so the clock never resets. The app closes the session itself shortly before the cap, with a gap long enough to start a fresh one. New ### Resumes where it was After an automatic restart the loop carries on from the same broadcast and the same second instead of starting over. A manual Stop and Start still begins at the top. New ### Pins, imports and a 24-hour timeline Pin a broadcast first, last, between every other one or by its date — pinning one that is not downloaded downloads it. Your own video files can join the loop; anything that does not match the loop's format is converted once on import. A timeline on the Library tab shows the next 24 hours. Security ### A licence key works in Stream ReRuns only A key — or an offline licence file — bought for another Royal SoftWorks product is refused. Changed ### The download folder is on the Home tab With the drive's free space beside it, and a warning when the planned download will not fit. Changed ### Updates come from the download host Updates now come from dl.royalsoftworks.com. Copies of 1.0.0 still find this release through a redirect on the old address. A guided tour runs on first launch; About → Take the tour brings it back. Fixed ### Downloads work the way they claim to Download progress now shows; YouTube downloads merge their video and audio instead of failing; a broadcast still live is skipped until it ends rather than saved cut off; Cancel and Quit stop the download instead of leaving it running; and Twitch's current recording format is prepared once after download instead of being left out of the loop. ## 1.0.0 6 September 2026 First release 2 New The first release: download the last 24 hours of a Twitch channel's past broadcasts or a YouTube channel's past live streams, and play them out on a loop to one of nine destinations. Pro, a one-time purchase, removes it. Staying current ## How a release reaches you. ### One check, at launch only Stream ReRuns looks for a new version once, 25 seconds after it starts, and never again while it runs — a loop left on air for days is not interrupted by an update prompt. Nothing downloads until you say so. ### Installer or portable The installer updates itself in place. The portable .exe cannot rewrite itself, so it sends you to the download page instead. ### You can verify what you install Windows builds carry an Authenticode signature issued to Royal SoftWorks — check the publisher in the file's properties before you run it. ## Get the current build.
