# No account. No sync. No telemetry.

What stays on your machine, and what to know before pointing it at production.

## No account. No sync. No telemetry.

Scanning never touches the network. Space Wizard goes online for two things only, and neither is about your files: checking your licence key, when you activate it and when the app starts, and checking for a new version once after each launch. Without a connection both simply fail — and there is an offline licence file for machines that never go online.

## Pointing it at production?

Host-key verification, credential storage and exactly what a scan touches — before you connect it to anything that matters.
