Your file travels from your computer or phone to theirs and nowhere else. It is never uploaded to a company's servers and never sits in storage you don't own. Works with colleagues, clients, friends and family — same room or other side of the world. [Buy Privatta](https://royalsoftworks.com/pricing/#subscriptions) [Or try it free](https://royalsoftworks.com/download/#privatta) Free to try, no account · Pro €19 a month for two seats · refundable within 14 days A file travels directly from your computer to another person's, with no cloud in the middle. How you use it ## Three steps. That is the whole thing. No accounts to create for the other person, no links that live forever, no upload bar to sit and watch. 1 ### Pick what to share Drag in the files or folders you want to share, and choose who is allowed to see each one: everyone, one person, or one team. Nothing else on your computer is visible. Ever. 2 ### Hand over a code Privatta gives you a one-time code. Send it to the person however you like — a message, an email, a phone call. It works once, then it is dead. 3 ### They take what they need They enter the code, see only the files you chose for them, and download the ones they want — straight from your machine to theirs. Every transfer is written down on your machine. On your own office network you do not even need the code — Privatta finds the other machines by itself, and the internet is never involved at all.
