01 Local-first

## Your files never leave your machine.

Open a single file or a whole folder as a workspace. Everything reads from and writes to your own disk as plain .md, a format every other tool already understands. No cloud sync, no proprietary database, no sign-in wall between you and your notes.

For your IT team

- **Storage** — Local files only; plain .md on your disk
- **Lock-in** — None — standard CommonMark-style markdown, readable anywhere
- **Telemetry** — None collected or transmitted

### Read & write your disk

Files and folders open straight from where they already live.

### Zero telemetry

Nothing is phoned home, ever.

### Three views

WYSIWYG, raw source, or rendered preview, your call.

### Free, no catch

No trial timer, no paywall, no subscription.
