Search PubMed, Europe PMC, ClinicalTrials.gov and US case law from the assistant, screen studies for retractions, and check that cited cases really exist.

## Research sources, feature by feature

Each comes with a small drawing of how it works. They are diagrams, not screenshots; numbers in them are examples.

- ### PubMed

  Medical and life-science literature.

  Diagram: Question → PubMed → Studies.
- ### Europe PMC

  European biomedical and life-science literature.

  Diagram: Topic → Europe PMC → Papers.
- ### ClinicalTrials.gov

  The public register of clinical trials.

  Diagram: Condition → Trials register → Trials.
- ### US case law

  Court opinions from a public case-law database.

  Diagram: Issue → Case-law database → Opinions.
- ### Retraction screening

  Check whether a study has been retracted or formally corrected before relying on it.

  Diagram: Study, then “Retracted?”: yes, Flagged; no, Usable.
- ### Citation check for legal answers

  Optional and off by default: every case an answer cites is looked up before you see it, and an answer citing a case reported as not existing goes back to be fixed. It proves a case exists, not that it is still good law.

  Diagram: Cited case, then “Exists?”: yes, Kept; no, Sent back.
- ### Silence is not guilt

  When the database is offline or has no coverage, a citation is never condemned.

  Diagram: Database offline → No verdict → Citation kept.
- ### These go online, on request

  These are online services: used only when the work needs them, and closed by Offline mode.

  Diagram: Lookup, then “Offline mode on?”: yes, Closed; no, Runs.
