Keep several knowledge bases side by side: each searched in chat or not, each with its own weight, each exported or imported as one file on its own. Free has one knowledge base. ## Collections, feature by feature Each comes with a small drawing of how it works. They are diagrams, not screenshots; numbers in them are examples. - ### As many as you need Create named collections next to the main knowledge base. Each keeps its own files and its own index. Diagram: Main, Contracts, HR, Clients 2026, Archive. - ### In chat, or not Choose which collections everyday chat searches. The rest are searched only where they are named, such as in a workspace for one matter. Checklist: Main · in chat (yes), Contracts · in chat (yes), Archive · not in chat (no). - ### Weighted Give each collection a weight from 0 to 1, so some sources count more than others. Diagram: Example weights: main 1.0, contracts 0.8, archive 0.3. - ### One file per collection Export a collection as a single archive and import it on another machine. Importing always makes a new collection and never overwrites one. Diagram: Collection → One .zip → Other PC: new collection. - ### Fair comparisons Every collection is searched with the same models, so their results can be ranked against each other. Diagram: Collection A and Collection B come together as Same models, same scale. - ### Checked on import A collection made with a different search model is detected and reported instead of being mixed in. Diagram: Imported collection, then “Same search model?”: yes, Added; no, Reported. - ### Workspaces keep to their own A workspace chat searches only the collections that belong to its matter or case. Diagram: Search, then “Matter: Smith”: yes, Smith's files; no, Others skipped. - ### A library of everything added One list of every document, image and web page in the knowledge base. Diagram: PDFs, Word, Images, Web pages, Recordings. - ### Access by group On a managed desk, the administrator decides which knowledge bases each person or group can reach.
