## Built-in tools, feature by feature

Each comes with a small drawing of how it works. They are diagrams, not screenshots; numbers in them are examples.

- ### Files

  Read, write, list and delete in the working folder, and make surgical edits shown as a diff. Nothing outside the folders you allow.

  Diagram: An edit, then “In an allowed folder?”: yes, Diff shown; no, Refused.
- ### Web search, with sources

  Search the web and cite what it found.

  Diagram: Search → Results → Answer + sources.
- ### Web pages in a sealed window

  Pages are opened in a hidden, sandboxed window with no access to the app or your files.

  Diagram: A web page opens in a sealed window: its text is read; it gets no access to the app or your files.
- ### A crawler

  Follow a website's links and read several pages in one go.

- ### Web requests

  Call any web service directly.

- ### A shell, with your say-so

  Run commands on your computer, each one confirmed by you first. Destructive commands, such as wiping a disk, are refused outright.

- ### Your data, queried

  List data sources, search them, fetch a record, see a database's layout and run a read-only query.

- ### Workflows from chat

  Ask for a workflow in conversation and it builds one.

- ### A permission gate

  Allow a tool once, for the session, or always. Actions that change something in an outside system ask every time; switching that off takes a typed warning.

- ### Per-tool switches

  Turn any tool off, or mark it as one that must ask before it runs.

- ### Rules from IT

  On a managed desk, the administrator sets which tools exist and which websites may be read.
