## Admin console, feature by feature

Each comes with a small drawing of how it works. They are diagrams, not screenshots; numbers in them are examples.

- ### Hosted by you

  The console runs inside the desktop app, on one of your own machines. Its records live in a local database or your own PostgreSQL.

  Diagram: Console on your PC leads to Desk 1, Desk 2, Desk 3.
- ### Users and groups

  Add people, put them in groups, and give a read-only auditor access to review without changing anything.

  Diagram of links: Legal – Ana, Legal – Marko, HR – Ivana.
- ### Policies, pushed live

  Rules per person, per group or for the whole organisation, sent to every desk as they change.

  Diagram: Policy change leads to Desk 1 ✓, Desk 2 ✓, Desk 3 ✓.
- ### Knowledge base access

  Which knowledge bases each person or group may search.

  Checklist: Legal → Contracts (yes), HR → Contracts (no).
- ### Screens per group

  Which panels and buttons each group sees, with starting layouts for each profession.

  Diagram: Legal layout, HR layout, Clinic layout.
- ### Is every desk up to date?

  Each desk shows whether it runs the current policy, is waiting to confirm a new one, or is behind.

  Checklist: Desk 1 · current (yes), Desk 2 · pending (no), Desk 3 · behind (no).
- ### Live sessions

  See who is connected and from which machine.

  Diagram: Example: two employees connected, with their machines.
- ### Help, never silent

  Run a tool or place a file on an employee's machine. Every such action is shown to that employee and recorded there.

  Diagram: Admin runs a tool → Employee's desk → Shown + recorded.
- ### One company model

  Employees can use the model on the company server. Their tools still run on their own machine, under their own rules.

  Diagram: Employee chat → Company model → Tools run on the desk.
- ### A fleet audit

  Each desk forwards a content-free copy of its chained audit log, with a continuity check, so gaps and rewrites show.

  Diagram: Desk 1 log and Desk 2 log and Desk 3 log come together as Fleet audit, no content.
- ### TLS, pinned

  Desks talk to the console over TLS only, and each one pins the console's certificate the first time it connects.

- ### Company sign-in

  Single sign-on (OIDC) and SCIM provisioning are built, and switched on per organisation during a pilot. SAML and LDAP are not offered yet.

- ### Works when the console is down

  Each desk keeps its last policy in force. A policy that was altered or deleted locks the desk until the console sends a fresh one.
