# Where AssistantGeneral is different.

What it does that the others don't, every line of it in the current code.

### Where AssistantGeneral is ahead

- **Your documents never have to leave.** The model runs on your PC or on a server in your office; a cloud model is used only if your policy allows it. Offline mode closes every outbound connection and keeps a daily record of the hosts that were reached, so there is no data-processing contract to negotiate with us.
- **An admin console you run yourself, inside the app.** One install becomes the office's admin console. Policy is pushed to every desk, enforced on the desk, and stays in force when the console is unreachable, down to individual connectors and tools, with a read-only auditor role. Msty, LM Studio and Ollama keep their consoles in their own cloud; Open WebUI needs a separate server.
- **No silent admin access.** Anything an administrator does on a desk, such as running a tool, pulling a file or changing settings, is shown to the person who uses it. The audit trail records actions, not content, and chains each entry to the last so an edit shows.
- **Your profession's procedures, not just prompts.** Workspaces for six professions and 24 practice packs (International, Serbia, Germany, the US), with a deadline calculator that never asks the AI. We have not found another assistant that carries procedure like this.
- **Real work, on a schedule, on your machine.** Workflows that run on a timetable or on an event, built from a plain description, and finished Excel, Word and PowerPoint files that are re-opened and checked before you get them. All of it runs on the model on your own computer.

Every line on this side is in the current code, in a private beta for Windows — see the changelog for what each build does and does not do yet.

## Where AssistantGeneral is different

Put together, AssistantGeneral is a desktop app whose model runs on your own computer or office server, whose admin console runs on one of your own machines, whose administrators cannot act on a desk without its user seeing it, and which carries the procedures of six professions in four jurisdictions. Each of those exists somewhere; we have not found them together.

It is also a private beta, for Windows, with no published price and no customer stories yet — the bands above say plainly where others are ahead today. If the question your compliance officer asks is whether a document may leave the building, this is the comparison that matters. If it is not, one of the products above is probably the better buy.

- A desktop app, a model on your own hardware and an admin console you host, in one install
- No silent admin access: every admin action on a desk is shown to its user
- Policy that stays in force on each desk when the admin console is unreachable
- Works with no internet once set up; activating a licence needs a connection once
- Workspaces for six professions, 24 practice packs, and a deadline calculator that never asks the AI
