# Royal SoftWorks > Software that runs on computers you already own. Your files never go to a cloud, there is no telemetry, and you keep what you pay for. Royal SoftWorks is a European software company building privacy-first enterprise applications for businesses, governments, and organizations that require complete data sovereignty. All on-premise products process data locally — your data stays on your infrastructure. Founded 2024. A more detailed, AI-readable reference is available in [llms-full.txt](https://royalsoftworks.com/llms-full.txt). ## Products - [AssistantGeneral](https://royalsoftworks.com/products/assistant-general/): An assistant that does office paperwork on your own computers: it reads your documents and answers from them. Private, local-first AI agent for the desktop. Runs models locally via llama.cpp (any GGUF model) or connects to optional cloud providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, xAI, Groq, Mistral, DeepSeek, Together, OpenRouter, custom OpenAI-compatible). Multi-stage agentic pipeline (plan → retrieve → act → groundedness check → review) with helpers for independent sub-tasks, profession workspaces (law office, judiciary, hospital, clinic, HR, recruitment) with practice packs for International/Serbia/Germany/US and a local deadline calculator, optional legal citation check, hybrid RAG knowledge base over local documents, Knowledge Insights visualizations (cluster map, topic cloud, timeline, persona network, entity graph — computed locally), real .xlsx/.docx generation via sandboxed Python with self-audit, visual workflow builder, 20+ data connectors, MCP client and server, messaging bridges (Slack, Telegram, WhatsApp Business, Instagram), local voice in/out (Whisper STT, Supertonic TTS), encrypted scheduled backups, 10 interface languages. Editions: Demo (free evaluation), Pro, Enterprise (adds control plane: RBAC, fleet audit, OIDC SSO + SCIM enabled per organisation during a pilot), Government (air-gapped sovereign deployment). Private beta, Windows only for now — current tester build 2.0.0-beta.3 (5 October 2026), which adds a quick lane for simple questions, a workflow generator (describe it, the app builds and checks it), one egress gate under every outbound connection with an Offline mode, and administrator actions shown to the employee. Not on the public download page; ask to join. 100% offline once first-run setup has downloaded the engine and model. - [Privatta](https://royalsoftworks.com/products/privatta/): P2P encrypted file sharing over LAN or internet. Current release 1.2.0 (2 October 2026). Internet transfers run over WebRTC (DTLS-encrypted, introduced by an open-source, self-hostable signaling server) and are gated by two independent factors since 1.1: a single-use, 32-character connection key minted by the relay, plus a 6-character security code generated on the host that never passes through it and is checked before credentials or any file listing. A peer can connect as a guest with no account and see only the files marked for everyone. LAN transfers use TLS, with an optional per-user MAC check. No cloud relay, no third-party server. Updates itself: one check per launch, installed on the user's confirmation, with releases that break compatibility markable as required (declinable at the user's own risk). Windows installer and portable build are code-signed. Enterprise access logging covers internet sessions as fully as LAN ones. Windows 10/11 (installer and portable); the Linux build follows. The Android companion app is not available at the moment. Interface in nine languages. Free tier for personal use, with everything in Pro for its first 14 days (no account, no card). Privatta Pro is €19/month including two seats; additional seats are €10/seat/month. - [DuplicateDuster](https://royalsoftworks.com/products/duplicate-duster/): Finds files and whole folders you are storing twice and clears the copies. File deduplication for exact duplicate files and whole duplicate folders. Every candidate is hashed with SHA-256, so matches are byte-for-byte identical — exact-match content detection only, no fuzzy filename or similarity guessing. You nominate source folders (kept) and target folders (cleaned), and only the target side can ever lose a file. Multi-threaded hashing, read-only scans, and four reclaim modes: recycle bin, permanent delete, three-pass secure erase, or hard-linking. Before any copy is touched the app re-walks the folders and re-hashes every candidate itself, refusing a copy whose contents changed or a batch that would leave no copy; every cleanup writes a report naming what was kept, what duplicated it and what was done. 100% local. Current release 1.4.0 (5 October 2026), Windows 10/11, installer or portable; the Linux build follows. Free tier scans without limit and reclaims up to 50 files per run; Pro is a ONE-TIME €20 purchase (VAT included), not a subscription. - [OfficeBrief](https://royalsoftworks.com/products/office-brief/): A file manager that searches the words inside your documents, scanned pages included, and tidies files in bulk. Desktop file manager with built-in document tools: dual-pane browser, full-text content search, on-device OCR (Tesseract), document conversion (with a locally installed LibreOffice), mass rename with regex, ZIP handling, and smart-card ID scanning. Runs locally; OCR language data downloads once per language. Not released yet; planned for Windows and Linux. Pricing to be announced. - [Space Wizard](https://royalsoftworks.com/products/space-wizard/): Shows you where your disk space went, folder by folder, and finds the files you saved twice. Disk-space analyzer that measures a drive folder by folder and renders the folder you are in as a bar or donut breakdown (deliberately not a treemap), plus duplicate detection using a three-pass SHA-1 check (exact size, 4 KB prefix hash, full hash). The same tools work against remote hosts over SFTP, FTPS or plain FTP, with duplicate hashing executed on the remote host over SSH so file contents stay there. Local deletions go to the recycle bin. SSH host keys are pinned on first connect; saved passwords are encrypted with the OS keystore. No cloud account, no telemetry, no network calls during a scan. COMING SOON — not released and not on sale yet: 1.0.0 is built, for Windows 10/11 first (installer or portable), then Linux. When it ships, the free tier covers the home drive up to 100 GB per scan, and remote hosts with no cap; Pro is planned as a ONE-TIME €20 purchase (VAT included) that unlocks every drive with no cap. - [Markdown Reader & Editor](https://royalsoftworks.com/products/markdown-editor/): A free writing app that formats as you type. Free WYSIWYG markdown editor that formats as you type. Local files, no account, no subscription, no telemetry. Windows and Linux. Free forever. - [WebRTC Relay Server](https://royalsoftworks.com/products/webrtc-relay-server/): Open-source WebRTC signaling relay — the server behind Privatta's internet P2P mode, usable by any WebRTC project. A single-file WebSocket relay that mints an unguessable single-use 32-character connection key, relays the SDP/ICE handshake between exactly two peers, and deletes the room the moment they pair or after a 5-minute ceiling. Never sees file data. Zero-logging: every log call passes a fixed event name, never an IP, key or payload (errors are logged by class name only). One runtime dependency (ws). MIT licensed, self-hostable via systemd, Docker, Railway, Render or Heroku. Free. - [VoiceMe](https://royalsoftworks.com/products/voiceme/): Turns whatever your computer is playing into subtitles on screen or a written transcript. Live subtitles and transcripts from the audio the computer is playing — NOT the microphone (a microphone is mixed in only if the user switches that on). Captures the system audio output (Windows WASAPI loopback, Linux PulseAudio/PipeWire monitor device), gates it with an adaptive-noise-floor voice-activity detector running in an AudioWorklet, and transcribes it locally with whisper.cpp run as a warm HTTP server. Output three ways: an always-on-top subtitle overlay (transparent, chroma-key for OBS/vMix, or solid; borderless, click-through, excludable from screen capture), keystrokes typed into the focused window (clipboard paste or synthesised keys, behind a two-stage arm, a global disarm hotkey and a per-application block-list), and a transcript log exportable as TXT, Markdown or JSONL. The recognition engine and the model are both downloaded from inside the app on an explicit click; a hardware scan recommends a model and predicts its real-time factor. Default model large-v3-turbo q5_0, multilingual, ~99 languages, with translate-to-English. Runs fully offline after setup; no account, no API key, no telemetry. Current release 1.0.0 (2 October 2026), Windows 10/11, installer or portable; the Linux build follows. Live captions appear in about a second. Free tier is unlimited except that the subtitle overlay runs 1 hour per cycle; Pro is a ONE-TIME €20 purchase (VAT included), not a subscription. - [VoiceMe Changelog](https://royalsoftworks.com/products/voiceme/changelog/) - [VoiceMe vs Windows Live Captions and OBS LocalVocal](https://royalsoftworks.com/products/voiceme/compare/): sourced, dated; when each is the better tool - [Stream ReRuns Changelog](https://royalsoftworks.com/products/stream-reruns/changelog/) - [Stream ReRuns vs OBS Studio, Restream and Gyre](https://royalsoftworks.com/products/stream-reruns/compare/): sourced, dated; when each is the better tool - [Stream ReRuns](https://royalsoftworks.com/products/stream-reruns/): Desktop app (renamed from "Twitch ReRuns" on 2026-09-04) that keeps a rolling window (24 h by default) of a channel's own finished broadcasts on local disk and re-broadcasts them on a loop to ONE RTMP or RTMPS destination at a time. Two sources: a Twitch channel's archives (past broadcasts only, no clips or highlights) or a YouTube channel's Live tab (finished streams only, no ordinary uploads, nothing live or upcoming). Nine destinations: Twitch, YouTube, Kick, Facebook, Rumble, TikTok, Trovo, Restream, and any custom ingest — the published server address is prefilled where a service has one, and left to paste where the service issues a per-account or per-session address (Kick, Rumble, TikTok). One stream key is stored per destination so switching cannot reuse the wrong credential, and RTMPS support is verified against the installed FFmpeg before a broadcast starts rather than failing into a reconnect loop. Everything is listed and fetched through yt-dlp, so neither the Twitch Helix API nor the YouTube Data API is used and no developer credentials are needed. Recency is ranked by descending numeric VOD id on Twitch, because flat listings carry no timestamp; YouTube ids are opaque, so each stream's real date is read once and cached, and the window is ordered by that. Nothing downloads until the user presses the download button once, because filling an empty 24-hour window is tens of gigabytes; after that the scheduler tops the window up every 12 h and deletes what has aged out, except items the user has pinned. Files are stored exactly as downloaded and re-encoded live by one long-lived ffmpeg reading a concat playlist with -re -stream_loop -1, which restarts with backoff if the connection drops. Because the concat demuxer cannot switch codec or resolution mid-stream, every file is probed at download time, the window is grouped by profile, the largest group is aired and the leftovers are reported rather than silently dropped; YouTube downloads are pinned to H.264 for the same reason. Stream keys are encrypted with the OS keychain via Electron safeStorage where one is available (stored plainly otherwise, and the app says so) and redacted from logs; a power-save blocker is held while live. Reruns need a channel of their own to publish to — streaming back to the source channel would feed its own output into the library. yt-dlp ships with the app; an LGPL FFmpeg is downloaded from its publisher on first run and never packaged. Current release 1.1.0 (2 October 2026), Windows 10/11, installer or portable; the Linux build follows. 1.1 reconnects by itself, ends a session on purpose before Twitch's 48-hour or Facebook's 8-hour cap, resumes from the same second after an automatic restart, and adds pins, imports from disk and a 24-hour timeline. Free tier is fully functional — both sources, all nine destinations, the whole window, the scheduler and unlimited streaming — and the single difference in Pro is that the royalsoftworks.com watermark comes off the outgoing video; Pro is a ONE-TIME €20 purchase (VAT included), not a subscription. Stream ReRuns is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Twitch, YouTube, Kick, Facebook, TikTok, Trovo, Rumble, Restream or any other streaming service; those names are used only to say where a stream comes from or goes to. - [SilverQR](https://royalsoftworks.com/products/silverqr/) — live at [silverqr.com](https://silverqr.com): Hosted, multi-tenant QR platform for hospitality venues (bars, hotels, beach clubs, lounges, spas). Every table, room, floor, sunbed or cabana gets its own uniquely signed, revocable QR code; scanning it opens the venue's live, branded mini-site tagged to that exact spot, on its own subdomain (yourbar.silverqr.com). Guests browse the menu and tap to call a waiter, ask for the bill, or leave a note — requests land on the staff dashboard, tagged to the table. Stale printed codes resolve up to the nearest parent (room, floor, venue) so guests never hit a dead end. Owners edit prices and availability live from their phone mid-service, schedule automation rules (e.g. hide coffee after 18:00, per venue timezone), and run multiple venues with ranked staff roles and an audit trail. Any venue can be made protected (invite-only): the printed QR becomes the access key, or specific guests are whitelisted by email, and everyone else is redirected away as if the venue did not exist. The 14 EU allergens and dietary tags on every item, eight themes and eight guest languages; no app install for guests or staff. Pro adds orders to staff (a basket sent to the board — SilverQR never takes a payment or a commission), bookings, invite-only venues and messages to management. One venue is free forever; Pro is €29/month flat (excl. VAT) for unlimited venues, with a 14-day trial and no card. Self-serve at silverqr.com. ## Whitepapers - [The Private AI Stack: A Local-First Architecture](https://royalsoftworks.com/resources/private-first-architecture/): how the full agentic stack runs on the user's machine. - [Governing AI Without a Vendor Cloud](https://royalsoftworks.com/resources/enterprise-ai-governance/): policy, SSO/SCIM, and audit on your own server. - [Private Legal AI: An On-Device Agent for Law](https://royalsoftworks.com/resources/legal-ai-on-device/): privilege-safe review, research, and drafting. - [Private Clinical AI: Evidence-Grounded, On-Device](https://royalsoftworks.com/resources/healthcare-ai-on-device/): PHI-safe clinical documentation and research. - [Private Finance AI: Spreadsheets That Tie Out, On-Device](https://royalsoftworks.com/resources/finance-ai-on-device/): validated models on sensitive data. ## Blog Engineering notes and researched explainers on the topics behind our products — data sovereignty, encryption, AI compliance — each fact-checked against primary sources (RFCs, court rulings, regulator guidance) and cross-linked to the product it relates to. No product is GDPR or HIPAA compliant on its own and we hold no certification; the customer's own programme (policies, access, records, any impact assessment) still applies. - No telemetry in any product: nothing about what you do is counted or sent. The desktop apps do check for updates, and paid licences are re-checked with the licence server. - Founded 2024, European company. ## Reading this site as Markdown Every page on this site has a Markdown twin at the same address with `.md` appended — [https://royalsoftworks.com/products/privatta.md](https://royalsoftworks.com/products/privatta.md) is [the Privatta page](https://royalsoftworks.com/products/privatta/), same content, about 95% fewer bytes and no markup to parse. Three ways to ask for it: - Append `.md` to any page URL, e.g. [about.md](https://royalsoftworks.com/about.md). - Send `Accept: text/markdown` to the ordinary page URL. - Identify as a known AI crawler and receive it by default. Each Markdown file opens with front matter carrying the page's title, description and canonical URL, and every HTML page advertises its twin as `` and in a `Link:` response header. ## Machine-readable discovery Every HTML page carries these four relations in its `Link:` response header (RFC 8288) and in ``, so an agent can find them from the headers alone: - [/.well-known/api-catalog](https://royalsoftworks.com/.well-known/api-catalog): `rel="api-catalog"` — the public API catalogue, as an RFC 9264 linkset (`application/linkset+json`) following RFC 9727. - [llms.txt](https://royalsoftworks.com/llms.txt): `rel="describedby"` — this file. - [llms-full.txt](https://royalsoftworks.com/llms-full.txt): `rel="service-desc"` — the full machine-readable reference. - [Resources](https://royalsoftworks.com/resources/): `rel="service-doc"` — architecture papers and product documentation. Two public APIs are listed in the catalogue. Neither requires a key. - [Service Status API](https://api.royalsoftworks.com/status): JSON health of the account, licensing and checkout services. `GET /status/purchases` answers the narrower question — whether a checkout completing right now would produce a licence. Described by [an OpenAPI 3.1 document](https://royalsoftworks.com/openapi/status-api.json); the human version is the [status page](https://royalsoftworks.com/status/). - [WebRTC Relay Server signaling API](https://royalsoftworks.com/products/webrtc-relay-server/): a WebSocket relay that mints a single-use connection key, carries the SDP/ICE handshake between exactly two peers and then forgets them. Open source, self-hostable. ## Contact - [Sales — sales@royalsoftworks.com](mailto:sales@royalsoftworks.com) - [General — office@royalsoftworks.com](mailto:office@royalsoftworks.com) - [Contact form](https://royalsoftworks.com/contact/) ## Optional - [Homepage](https://royalsoftworks.com/) - [Products](https://royalsoftworks.com/products/) - [Resources & whitepapers](https://royalsoftworks.com/resources/) - [Downloads](https://royalsoftworks.com/download/) - [FAQ](https://royalsoftworks.com/faq/) - [About](https://royalsoftworks.com/about/) - [Contact](https://royalsoftworks.com/contact/) - [Support](https://royalsoftworks.com/support/): support is by email from the people who write the software; a reply within one business day, Team subscriptions answered first, no published SLA outside a written agreement. - [Security reports](https://royalsoftworks.com/security/): how to report a vulnerability (office@royalsoftworks.com, subject "Security:"), what is covered, what happens next; also at /.well-known/security.txt. - [Privacy Policy](https://royalsoftworks.com/privacy/) - [Cookie Policy](https://royalsoftworks.com/cookies/) - [AssistantGeneral](https://royalsoftworks.com/products/assistant-general/) - [AssistantGeneral Features](https://royalsoftworks.com/products/assistant-general/features/): every feature in 31 classes - [Local AI models](https://royalsoftworks.com/products/assistant-general/features/local-ai-models/): Runs the AI on your own computer, offline: a built-in model, any GGUF file you pick, a check that it fits your hardware, and faster writing on the default. - [Cloud AI providers](https://royalsoftworks.com/products/assistant-general/features/cloud-ai-providers/): Bring your own key for Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, Grok, Groq, Mistral, DeepSeek, Together, OpenRouter or any OpenAI-compatible server.
