What the work needs A developer needs the small piece of plumbing that introduces two computers to each other to be short enough to read end to end, and theirs to run. - Software teams Two machines that want to talk directly first have to exchange offers and candidates, but they have no channel to trade them over until they are already connected. - Developer workstations node\_modules, build caches, old container layers and duplicated dependency trees pile up across a dozen project folders, invisible until the disk is nearly out. WebRTC Relay Server is a WebSocket relay that carries just enough to get two peers talking. The first peer asks for a room and gets a one-time key; it shares the key with exactly one other person, who joins with it.
