Does Royal SoftWorks software send data to the cloud? Desktop application - no. SaaS applications - yes. Where possible - no data - not your prompts, files, documents, or queries — ever leaves your infrastructure. Is Royal SoftWorks software compatible with air-gapped environments? Yes. Desktop Royal SoftWorks products are designed for air-gapped and network-restricted environments. After initial installation, (most) all features are able to operate fully offline. Is Royal SoftWorks software GDPR and HIPAA compliant? Royal SoftWorks products are GDPR and HIPAA compatible by architecture. Because data is never intended to leave your infrastructure, you maintain full data sovereignty and compliance responsibility. There is no data processor relationship to manage, no DPA agreements required with us, and no risk of cross-border data transfers. What is AssistantGeneral? AssistantGeneral is a local-first enterprise AI platform that runs entirely on your desktop hardware. It provides LLM inference (supporting GGUF models including Llama, Mistral, Qwen, and others), a RAG knowledge base with multi-stage retrieval, a visual workflow automation builder, MCP protocol support, voice I/O, messaging bridges (Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram), and an OpenAI-compatible local API endpoint. No internet connection is required after installation. What is Privatta? Privatta is an enterprise-grade encrypted peer-to-peer file sharing application. AssistantGeneral performs all AI inference locally using llama.cpp and compatible GGUF-format language models. Once a model is downloaded and installed, the software operates in full offline mode. You can also connect optional cloud providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, xAI, Groq, Mistral, DeepSeek, Together, OpenRouter, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint), but these are never required. Is Royal Softworks software suitable for government and defense use? Royal Softworks products are designed for high-security environments including government agencies and defense contractors: fully offline operation, zero telemetry, no outbound network calls, and machine-bound offline licensing. We hold no government certifications and claim none — we publish the architecture and invite your security team to verify it on your own hardware. What AI models does AssistantGeneral support? AssistantGeneral supports any GGUF-format model, including Llama 3, Mistral, Qwen, Phi, Gemma, DeepSeek, and all other models compatible with llama.cpp. It supports F16, Q8, Q6, Q5, and Q4 quantization levels for flexible hardware requirements. Vision and multimodal models are also supported. Is there a ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot alternative that runs entirely on-premise? Yes. AssistantGeneral is built as a private, on-premise alternative to ChatGPT and Copilot: the same agentic capabilities — chat, RAG over your own documents, workflow automation, tool use — running on hardware you control via llama.cpp, with cloud providers as an optional, opt-in extra rather than a requirement.
